Son Caliu is a small locality with its own beach. Well, it’s a little beach – Playa Son Caliu is about 75 metres long and has some concreted parts. Also in the place and named after it, you have the Hotel Son Caliu. This is an example of true pioneering spirit! Built right by the Mediterranean back in the 1960s with the onset of tourism in Majorca, and lavishly refurbished since then, it was one of the very first hotels to spring up in the area of Palmanova.
